If you haven’t seen the complete specifications of the TECNO PhonePad3 tablet, then here is a chance to have a full look at it again. The PhonePad 3 device is the newest Phablet from TECNO and it was launched in March. This device is packed with amazing specs and features. Starting with the OS, it’s so unfortunate that this 7 inches device didn’t come preinstalled with the latest Android version. It was packed with Android Marshmallow 6.0 based on TECNO HiOS. Processor clocks at 1.3GHz and it’s a mediatek Quad-core processor to ensure its fast and responsive. Also, you are sure to enjoy your favourite network’s LTE service. It supports 4G LTE network and can be used on MTN, 9Mobile, Ntel and other 4G providers in Nigeria, sadly, Glo 4G isn’t inclusive. It’s camera is quite fine for a Phablet of this nature. Phone Pad III come with a 13MP rear camera with dual flash to ensure photos taken are brightened even in the night. Meanwhile, it has 5MP front camera with flash, this is WOW for a TECNO phablet. If you’re searching for a crazy camera phone, search no more…The TECNO Camon CX has everything you need. This device is large, not so handy… Perhaps, someone like me will find this device perfect because of my love for BIG screened phones. The PhonePad3 dimension is 188mm (length), 98mm (width) and 7.85mm (thick). What is the battery like? Embedded in this PhonePad is a 4100mAh battery. U doubt if this is enough to power a Phablet for more than 24 hours touch. The larger the screen, the faster battery drains up! If this was a normal phone, 4100mAh battery capacity would be just fine! Infact, you can refer to one of my previous post showing a list of the best TECNO phones with over 4000mAh battery in Nigeria. Finally, there one more feature that made this phone stand out among equals… it’s the fingerprint scanner. The scanner isn’t at the back below camera and not somewhere on the bezel… Ask me where? The fingerprint sensor is positioned by the right side of the device, immediately after the power button! This is the first time this is happening in any TECNO device! In conclusion:
For me, i think this PhonePad is just perfect for people who love it BIG! This specifications are fair enough. While the TECNO L9 and Camon CX flagships all come with the latest android OS (Android N 7.0), this one is preinstalled with the old OS. I’m a bit heartbroken about this though, I just hope TECNO push out updates on this phone frequently. Also, it think the price is a bit outrageous….A 2GB RAM for N75k in 2017??? …Mouth zipped!!!
