Earlier, One UI 4.0 could only be accessed by users who took part in the beta program, now One UI 4.0 can be adopted by all users of the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The One UI 4.0 update also comes with the latest Android 12 which is still being released for smartphones made by Google only, the Pixel. Of course, this is an advantage for Samsung smartphone users because they can experience the new features of Android 12 faster than other OEMs. Quoted from XDA-Developers, specifically for the United States region, the software update for One UI 4.0 and Android 12 comes with the code name G991NKSU3ZUID, G991NOKR3ZUID, or G991NKOU3BU18 and has a size of 2422.17 MB. The update also comes with the latest Android Security Patch Level for September 2021. For those of you who don’t know, One UI 4.0 presents several new features ranging from a choice of themes with 60 types of colours, then a privacy feature that can display notifications if an application is accessing the camera or microphone, and others. Unfortunately, there is no information regarding when Samsung will roll out One UI 4.0 for their other smartphone series. While we await the full rollout of this update, below is a video that shows all the features of the One UI 4.0!
