The fact that Samsung is facing a stiff competition with the Chinese smartphone manufacturers in the mobile market makes this move seem shrewd. It can’t be argued that the masterminds from China like Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Huawei and the likes are offering users vast options both in mid-range and entry-level at welcome prices. Added to this, the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series sometimes do have striking features that makes users find it less hard to go for the cheaper option. So, Samsung’s move, if materialized, will see smartphones in the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series coming out as a single high end Samsung S series. This will also see Samsung saving a lot of money on designing, manufacturing and marketing. Prior to this, there have been rumours that the manufacturer will release the Samsung Galaxy S10 in three variants rather than the usual two variants. This S10 variance seems to cement the news about this Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series match up. In other words, we’ll be seeing a premium Galaxy S10 as well as a budget Galaxy S10 as the two of the three variants.
