HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro 4G version has a 6.76 inch (2772 x 1344) display, powered by a HUAWEI Kirin 9000 3.13GHz octa-core chipset, 8GB RAM, storage capacity is 128GB / 256GB. It is a high-spec phablet with a triple camera combination of 50 megapixels + 20 megapixels + 12 megapixels.
It is a model that adopts Huawei’s original “Harmony OS 2” as the OS, and although the hardware specifications are almost the same as the Mate 40 Pro released in 2020, it does not support 5G communication. It features Kirin 9000 processor, a top-rated large sensor (triple camera), a quick charge 66W and a 50W Qi wireless charging compatible battery. Biometric authentication supports fingerprint authentication sensor (inside the screen), 3D face recognition, stereo speaker, IP68 rated waterproof resistance, the connection port is USB Type-C, and there is no 3.5mm audio jack. Google related apps and Play Store are not available.

Available in 5 colours: Mystic Silver, White, Black, Green and Yellow. Released in China in June 2021, the price is 6099 CNY (about ₦393,000 in Nigeria) for the RAM 8GB / 128GB model and 6599 CNY (about ₦425,000 in Nigeria) for the RAM 8GB / 256GB model. In addition, the 4G model HUAWEI Mate 40E 4G version, HUAWEI Mate X2 4G version, and HUAWEI nova 8 Pro 4G version of “Harmony OS” are also announced at the same time.
