HONOR Magic Watch 2 elevates the advantages in terms of battery life. The second-generation smartwatch of this series is claimed to be able to live up to fourteen days of use. The increase in battery life is influenced by Huawei’s Kirin A1 chipset. This chipset also integrates a Bluetooth processing unit, a powerful audio processing unit, an application processor with low power consumption, and a separate power management unit. The application processor of this product uses a Cortex-M7 processor for low power consumption of 10uA / MHz, which is far below the industry average of 30uA / MHZ. For comparison, the average battery life on a smartwatch is around 4-5 days, depending on usage. Having broader colour details, and a design that is superior to LCD screens, the screen on the smartwatch is capable of producing fuller screen colours and higher contrast. In sport mode, HONOR MagicWatch 2 is compatible with 15 sports activities, including eight outdoor sports (running, walking, biking, hiking, walking, cycling, open water, triathlon) and seven indoor sports (walking, running, cycling, swimming pools, free training, elliptical machines, rowing machines). For 15 sport modes, this smartwatch provides full-scale monitoring of about 190 types of data. This smartwatch provides an analysis of pre-training data targeted at different sports, analysis of data recording during training and professional advice afterwards.
Price and availability
HONOR Magic Watch 2 comes in two editions. First, the 46mm body edition is sold for approx. N64,000 naira in Nigeria. Then the second, 42mm size edition which sells for approx. N60,000 naira.
